It has been an interesting past couple of weeks, to say the very least.  About two weeks ago one of my younger sisters finally earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, graduating summa cum laude, and a good number of family members joined up both here and in my sister's home, in the next state over, to celebrate the occasion.  Of course, when my family gets together for anything, due to the volatile nature of the group, there is always due reason for concern.  This time was no different.

Somehow, amidst the chaos (which I will spare you the details, for now), I was able to get about fifty pages written.  I was hoping to be on the home stretch by now, eager to sink my teeth into the third installment, but life happens.  I have about sixty or seventy pages to go, tops, and that's close enough right now, all things considered.

Needless to say, there is much to add to Cinderella Eyes, now, and I have decided that another redraft is defintely in order.  The Darkness and the Night trilogy is my main priority, however, so it is likely that the redraft will take a few weeks, if not longer.  I am confident that the end result will be well worth the short wait....
